So cool! As an avid off-roader myself, especially with the lift, I highly advise you keep spare upper and lower ball joints. With the new lift, especially puck style your geometry is going to be compromised slightly.

I have been thinking about doing this to a Macan for awhile. Glad to see someone beat me to it!

Thank for the advice! Can't wait to see what you would do with your Macan.

We definitely need to keep this thread going, because I want to see what else you do to your Macan as well as examples of others! I would love to do something like this in the near future. New to the Porsche world. I'm coming from a 2018 JLUR. Did an even swap for a 2019 base. Not as roomy, but I wanted the AWD and something more sporty to drive when I go to the mountains. Possibly looking to get a roof rack and more aggressive tires. However, it's gonna be hard to give up those 21 inch rims!

Happy to see another " wild" Macan!

For others benefit, I put Falken Wildpeak AT3a's on the stock 18" rims on my S. It has the air suspension so no need to lift it permanently. While slightly less chunky than the KO2's, they're proper AT tyres. No extra noise at highway speed but a slight hum around 35mph around town.
I am looking to go this route. Do you have pictures of your set up? Falken is the only manufacturer (thank you by the way) that I can find that makes an A/T tire in both front and rear sizes.

The only picture I have is the close-up one on my profile which if I recall correctly was taken in the high setting. I think they look great. I don't think my phone is good enough to take a proper side shot with any clarity.

Nice! Where did you get the tire pressure monitors from? Are they expensive?
The TPMS is a cheap set from our Alibaba equivalent. $30 and they've been working perfectly. The receiver sits nicely on the dash where the clock would be if I had sport chrono and is solar powered so no wires are needed. A must-have in my opinion.

Looks great, would love to do this to my car. Did you ever experience any issues with the transfer case? How do the AT handle compared to the factory tires?
Not sure if this question was for me or the OP, but I've only had the AT tyres for a few thousand km so no transfer case issues.

Re handling, not much difference at normal speeds but doesn't feel as planted during high speed cornering. I've only been up to 170kph (110mph) on a nice flowing bend and it felt fine but not as "stuck" as with the high performance road tires that come standard.

It's very good on gravel now, especially in off road mode with 50-50 torque split.
