Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈!
Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈!I was getting close so planned this trip to the top of Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina to celebrate.
I keep a car as long as it suits my lifestyle- high mileage is not an issue. And I do the maintenance myself so I know it's done right. After a series of vehicles to nurse my kids from infants through moving furniture from college apartments, It's now all about my wife and me.Congrats! Glad you posted this and hope it helps a bit to dispel the the theory (or myth) that these cars fall apart and bleed cash post warranty.
Thanks for sharing... it's a similar story with our family as well but I think I am most concerned with the $20-30k PDK replacement people keep talking about at the 60,000-80,000 km range, have you encountered any issues with that personally?I keep a car as long as it suits my lifestyle- high mileage is not an issue. Trips on the BRP. Daily drives in our forever mountain location. Cross-country trips to visit friends and grandkids. Since there are no lifestyle changes expected, this car is likely to be in my stable a long time.
Since I'm semi-retired and have downsized to one home, My annual mileage has decreased significantly from the 30k/ year that it had been for nearly two decades. The next two should be on the order of about half of that. So it may take another 7 years to celebrate 200K, 14 years for 300k....
40k mile service: fluid and external filter change. Thanks for sharing... it's a similar story with our family as well but I think I am most concerned with the $20-30k PDK replacement people keep talking about at the 60,000-80,000 km range, have you encountered any issues with that personally?
Now you can modify all you want without Big Brother looking over your shoulder, ready to deny a warranty claim for any unrelated reason...So happy to hear that. My 2017 GTS just hit 81,000. Daily driver. CPO just ran out in March.![]()
So far just a Cobb stage 1. My GTS didn’t come with the Sports Chrono package, so I did a retro fit with the part through Suncoast and had the dealer install. It was their first one. But LOVE the additionNow you can modify all you want without Big Brother looking over your shoulder, ready to deny a warranty claim for any unrelated reason...![]()
