It appears that change is in the air or there is a glitch with the US configurator. Under the GTS, I noticed the following: Mamba Green and Sapphire Blue are back, premium package plus is reduced in cost but missing surround view as included option and I think I saw PCCB brakes as an option again once again. While my gut tells me that this is not a preview of the 2022 configurator as it will likely have more dramatic changes, I have a feeling that this is a sign that it is about to be changed.

Yeah. Lane change assist and led + also removed from the P+ pkg. It must be in the midst of getting the update so likely some inaccurate info because when rebuild up my order and put back in all missing from P+ it actually comes out less $$ total. I am sure that will be changing.

This happened to me too. For some reason this is a former configurator page which should be inactive but is showing up anyway. The big clue is that the base price for the car is $1000 less! My SA confirmed. If you generate a build code, it will be useless.

It showed MY2020 configurator when clicked on Print to generate the PDF specs. Looks like Porsche might be in the process of updating configurator for new Model Year. Would be nice to see PCCB offered again in all market!

Just for fun I went through it. They removed apple car play from standard options and added it to pp +. Lower base price. Comparing S 2021 starting base of $60,200. New base price is $800 lower at $59,400. PP+ was $7100. Now $6230. Adding rear seat heating and apple car play. Removing lane change assist and surround view. They did correct the image which now shows the pano roof. Can’t do an exact bottom line comparison as the old pp+ had front seat heating and the new has front and rear. My build is $72,910 and configured with the new configurator is $73,140 so I actually pay for rear heating $230. just a configurator under construction.

Today when I opened my Porsche code, I got this pop-up message "Unfortunately, the chosen model is no longer available for configuration in this model year" (screenshot attached). So looks like 2021 is closed now.

I opened the configurator to build a Macan GTS with the exact same options.
These are a few differences that I noticed (For people who are looking to buy)

- The base price has now dropped to $71,300 from $72,100 ($800 price drop)

- Premium package plus is now $5020, earlier it was $6610. However, the following options has been excluded from the premium package plus now: LED headlights in black including PDLS+ ($420), Surround-view ($1200), and LCA ($700).

- If you add these options individually on top of the new premium package plus, the total would be $7340.

I still see the hard buttons console. Not sure if Porsche is going with the same model or moving to haptic touch as they have in Cayenne.

What does everyone think about this?

If they keep the buttons I will cancel my 2021 order (December delivery) and order a 2022 in a fun color, hopefully mamba green. I won't be interested in 2022 if they go with the haptic type buttons.
