Technical specs / data comparison between .2 GTS and Turbo. (Note: .2 denotes life cycle update on current Gen-I Macan)

The table below listed the differences on specs without options. Other specs, such as Engine (2.9L V6), Power transmission (Drive system, Transmission, Gear ratios), Chassis, Wheels and tires remained identical. Detail tech specs are attached for reference.

The height is different . That is a big deal . Also the brakes on the Turbo are an upgrade .

I think the GTS suspension is lowered 15mm (not 10mm) ... which is the difference in height.
On the Porsche USA site the spec is identified as "height" if doing a side by side comparison of specs. Porsche Models - Porsche USA
Height
64.0 in
63.0 in
According to Porsche: Porsche Macan GTS : Chassis and chassis systems

The greatest strength of the new Macan GTS lies in its handling. Thanks to its standard Porsche Active Suspension Management system, including 15 mm lower suspension, the compact SUV handles like a sports car. Steel suspension, active damper system and anti-roll bars have all been completely revamped and retuned. This means even more driving pleasure through a more neutral response while at the same time offering unchanged stability and improved comfort. The new Macan GTS comes as standard with 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels fitted with different-sized tyres front and back. The specially developed tyres contribute to the new model’s improved performance characteristics. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and height-adjustable air suspension are available as options to further enhance the dynamic performance of the car. Unlike the other Macan models, the chassis of the GTS is lowered a further 10 mm.

Adding both to 25 mm that is about 1 inch lowered (25.4mm), 63" vs 64". The GTS specs sheet only mentioned "Steel suspension lowered by 10 mm and double-acting, hydraulic gas-filled vibration dampers", without mentioning the PASM lowering figure.

Height can't upgraded unless going with aftermarket solution. Brake is the same with custom option.

One interesting note on stock Unladen weight according to DIN, it's 35kg (77 lb) lighter on GTS. Is 18-way seats and electronic steering column package that much weight difference compared to 8-way seats?

Unladen DIN Weight = Weight of Car with 90% fuel, no driver, no cargo.

I have always compared stock to stock and aftermarket to aftermarket . BTW great explanation above.

You are correct . The GTS comes with 8 way seats and Turbo with 18way . On a Turbo Porsche won't charge extra for the downgrade to 14 way . On a GTS 14 and 18 way are upgrades . They weigh more than the 8.

I had the 8-way seats on my first GTS, they "killed" me, never felt truly comfortable in them. The 18-way seats are a different story, love them, for the delta in $ it is one of the best upgrades possible.

These Porsche types apparently don't get the message that is turning out those impossibly crazy cars that come called things like the **** Cat Red eye. All they have to do is drop a crate engine in just one and it would be a classic.

In the USA the GTS comes with the air suspension standard.

The GTS brakes appear to be the same as the S, based on the "Standard Features" for the S listed in the configurator:

Brakes
Front: 6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed calipers with 360 mm internally vented brake discs
Rear: Single-piston floating calipers with 330 mm internally vented brake discs
Brake calipers with Titanium finish
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
Multi-collision brake
Electronic parking brake
Brake pad wear indicators

.2 S/GTS are basically the same braking system, with GTS brake calipers painted in red.

Base/S front track is the widest among all, while GTS rear track is the widest among all.

In general wider tracks will increase cornering power. Wider front track tend to reduce understeer.
