I finally popped the plastic engine shroud off my 2021 Macan Turbo and I am baffled how the turbos work with the actual engine. It seems backwards. The air flows from outside the car into the turbos and then from the turbos into the exhaust manifolds. But I see no way how the air flows into the engine unless there's some sort of auxiliary flow that runs the air into the intake manifold which I am totally missing? Is air intake into to the turbos and the engine two separate things

Nice video…thanks for posting! I think the key thing to understand is that in these engines the exhaust ports are in the vee of the cylinders (near the turbos) and the intake ports are outboard…the reverse of conventional vee engines for 70+ years.

Thanks for posting this!

I could not figure out what was what when installing the JB4 on my 22 S. "Where is this hose going to or coming from ...?"
