Hi- Can anyone be kind enough to make any recommendations on this build?I think I probably don't need a few things and perhaps I left out some important things...thanks so much in advance ..https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPMHK7Q2

Nice build! Nothing’s missing here. Just two recommendations:

Untick this box: “Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) (Raised 10 mm)”

An evergreen on this forum. It will make your GTS air suspension worse by lifting the car up by 10 mm. The good one is standard.

You can also untick Lane Keep. Unless you appreciate random steering inputs throwing you from left to right and back. It has nothing im common with state-of-the-art semi-autonomous driving.
1. UNCHECK

1. Uncheck "Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) (Raised 10 mm)" unless you want your GTS same height as S trim.

2. Check user review of "Self Steering ParkAssist", there has been some degree of disappointment regarding this function.

3. Check user review of "Smartphone Compartment with Wireless Charging", same it goes like self steering parkassist, a lot of disappointment and complains

4. If you added CF side blade, and CF Interior Trim, consider "Heated GT steering wheel in carbon fiber", and "Door sill illuminated in carbon fiber" to complete CF trim. GT steering wheel actually has been praised and recommended most of time.

Good luck!

Nice combo of white over red with carbon. I like.

I'd echo the above comment and also consider what you're selecting the 360 view camera for. If it's for resale / general positioning in otherwise unobstructed parking spots then you could argue it's a worthwhile option. If you're selecting it to help you park in a spot that has pillars or other obstructions in / near the corners it's pretty useless. There's a sizeable blind spot in each corner from about a foot out.

thanks very much. aside from the height of the adjustable suspension you are not a fan of it? I added the carbon fiber steering wheel and door sill. thanks again

Thanks! - didn't know about the blind spot--good to know

Air suspension is standard on GTS, while you need to add option for air suspension on S trim. One of the features makes GTS distinctive is standard lowered height. GTS is lowered 10mm as standard and air suspension will lower another 10mm. By choosing that option, you give up GTS unique lowered position. I am a big fan of air suspension :) it is absolute option for any trim of Macan lol

I really want to know where the demand to have this ridiculously confusing choice came from. The vehicle sits with around 7" of ground clearance regardless. Who is concerned about wanting to have an extra 10mm of clearance if choosing a GTS? Press the off road button and it raises the vehicle up to more than enough for anyone wanting a CUV. It kind of makes sense for the Cayman/Boxster with much lower ground clearance and no front axle lift option for buyers who want the performance features bundle but contend with steep driveways.

Be aware that the CF steering wheel is not your typical CF wheel. There is no CF on the wheel itself and IIRC, the box you're checking is just for the trim on the wheel. Look at the pictures in the configurator and you'll see what I mean.
Stick with the Carbon Fiber interior . . . . Carbon Fiber Door Sills . . . . Carbon Fiber Side Blades . . . . That will be an awesome combination.

Lose the Carbon Fiber (kinda) steering wheel. Go with a leather, Race-Tex . . . anything that is not slick and shiny.

Great build . . . you had me at the white instrument faces!

:)

The current CF wheel only has CF spokes. The rim itself is leather.

Thank you . . . . I was unaware.

Just went and looked . . .that's a 1000X better.

What is 1000 times better?

The current iteration of the Carbon Fiber steering wheel. The one in the past looked like something from the J. C. Whitney catalog.

The current one with the leather rim, full leather, and Carbon Fiber spokes looks great.

I have Carbon Fiber interior in 2 of the 2022 Audis and it's nice.
