Group Buy Rules

For members who are non-paying vendors who seek to create a Group Buy:

Group buys must be offered by a forum member with established bona fides as determined by the moderators/admins and approved by them.
Group buys should be infrequent from the purveyor; if it is a regular thing, said purveyor must become a Supporting Vendor
Whoever is running a group buy should establish extremely clear expectations: timing, payment, order, delivery, etc.
The Purveyor takes on full responsibility for all correspondence with the Supplier and must not be in any way connected to or incentivized by the Supplier. The Group Buy must be contained to a single thread, and must include:
- A predetermined end date, which must not be more than 30 days after the Group Buy thread is posted
- A clear explanation of how the Group Buy will be fulfilled, including all fulfilment/shipping costs and estimated shipping/collection dates for the item(s).
All participants accept that their participation in a Group Buy is entirely at their own risk. Payment may only be made directly to the Supplier
Any violation of these rules, or the Forum Rules, at any time during the Group Buy, may result in the Group Buy being paused or closed without notice, and further action being taken where necessary.
