After research and speaking with a few buddies up here in Whistler, I am going for the Michelin Alpin 5's. Lasts much longer and n-spec is not a concern as getting a better winter tire is more important to me. One buddy got a season out of his Scorpions and was super disappointed in how fast they wore - he just got Alpin's last week
They dont make that in 265/45/20 295/40/20 thats not an option even.
Those are for 911’s
The only n spec for your macan is rhe pirelli
According to tirerack they do, that’s why I asked… see https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires....&autoYear=2022&autoModel=Macan+S&autoModClar=

I’ve heard about pirelli wearing faster plus many forum members seem to prefer Michelins for durability, quietness and overall better feel… which is objective of course. I totally agree with you about n-spec for winter but if I can get the tires that were designed for my car for basically the same price then why not.

Cheers

Just ordered Pilot Alpin PA5 SUV in those sizes for my new GTS and am assured they are N0 spec. I asked them 3 times to confirm just to be sure. They were the same price as MO spec. They should be in next week.

Not sure if true or not, but "n-spec" is a Porsche kickback (someone legit in the tire biz told me but not sure...). The industry I am in (Outdoor/Sports/fashion) has similar programs that are grey or go unsaid, Not sure what to believe but felt in my gut that Michelins were a better all around winter tire and more durable. If I saw more than one review (globally) that put Pirelli over Michelin, then I would have sucked it up and ate the one to maybe two season durability of Pirelli but the results were overwhelmingly Michelin. Nokia came up quite a bit but there are certain brands that get better internet buzz for a variety of reasons - not all for the right reasons... With winters the way they are these days, I want a solid winter and durable tire for not only snow and ice drives to Whistler, but also the shoulder seasons with amazing dry driving on Hwy 99 south and north...

Are you in Van?

Where did you order them from?
I have Nokian R3 on my wife's car but sadly couldn't find them in the sizes we need for the 21s. I stuck with Kumho WP-71 which I've been running on my current TTS and previous Golf R and loved. They have been exceptional for very spirited S2S drives in the depths of winter, rain, snow, ice and everything in between. Not N rated either.
Just arrived late today in Van - they are going to do some protection on the console and front end, new license plate holders (no drilling) and a few other things. Will most likely pick it up next Sat. Beyond excited!

Art Replica gloss black with Porsche logo and 4 Michelin Alpin Pilot 265 45R20. $4K installed and all taxes. They store for the season. Porsche was $7K+. I just leaned that my GTS is coming with summer tires (ordered it with all season). As far as the SA knows, that was the only change from the original order.
I'm thinking of getting the same winter setup. Do you have any pictures of your GTS with the winters mounted?
