Detail shop (Rocky Mountain Auto Salon) took some pics after they were done. Thought I’d share because it’ll never look this good again! 😀😢

Decided to go matte on the haptic controls and love it. No fingerprints and it ties in really well with the plastic around the shifter and the aluminum interior accents. It still looks great when lit up as well. For the very OCD out there, there’s a 1mm border around the control console with the Expel kit that is still shiny. The installer got it perfectly even so it almost looks like its by design. Console pic shows before and after. Couldn’t be happier.

Next up, wheel spacers are in my garage waiting for when i get some spare time.

Looks great. Wondering why you didn’t go with the smoke side marker. It would look amazing with the black wheels and that beautiful blue color.

Looks like he has clear markers but the orange LEDs are lit. That’s what I have too on my black Macan

Lol. All of the side markers are ugly.

I tried a smoked side marker as well but preferred the clear as it matched the clear tail lights and head lights better. Personal preference is all.

Painted body colour is the best solution I’ve seen as one other forum member did. Might try it once I get some spare time.

Yes, I see that. I like the smoke one for darker exterior colors but that is just my preference.

Beautiful ride congratulations. I was debating btwn matt and the other option - you convinced me to go with matt.... There is a place here in Vancouver who will do the interior kit for me...

I also have a 2022 GTS and had the matt Xpel film put on the console and infotainment system. I am very OCD and love that i get very few fingerprint. I really like that the whole center of dash/console matches. However I have had a problem of water getting into the console switches when they installed the film. It caused one panel to not operate and the LED temperature setting to flash. After it dried a couple days the console switches began functioning perfectly. The LED temperature is still flashing. It may return to working if there is still water in the electronics. It has been 4 days since the job was completed. The installation shop is having me take it to the dealer to solve but I can’t get in for 17 days. The installer is top notch and the best in the city so I am sure they were careful. I am sure the installer knows what he is doing because every time I go to his shop he is detailing/wrapping Ferraris, Lambos and even Bugatti‘s. So be extra careful on the installation if you decide to do this modification.

Yes. That’s the low setting with the GTS air ride (-10mm). I like that it stays at that setting so there’s no need to hit the button every time I get in the car.

So I’m assuming here they put PPF over the GTS decal? Cool shadow effect actually with the rim of air around the decal? Is it this visible in person? Is the expectation that this will dissipate over time?

Good eye and attention to detail!

We debated whether to remove the GTS decal before the ppf install which is what they normally do. I never got back to him with a firm answer, so he put ppf over the decal because he didn’t want to remove the factory GTS sticker without my approval.

He offered to try remove the outlne with a pinhole, or redo that small panel with the GTS logo removed. It was an unplanned detail that I actually like, so I left it for now.

it‘s not very noticeable unless you get you get close. 99% of people won’t even see it, and a small fraction of the remaining 1% won’t recognize it as not being an OEM decal outline. I suspect it’ll disappear with time, but I hope it stays. If it changes to an uneven outline something will have to be done.
