I recently bought a new porsche and was wondering if there is anything wrong with the build.

thats beauty of porshe you can have the car the way you and then other people in fam can have opinions.
I will not configure my car this ( mine is already on port enroute to my dealership) .
i am just saying nicely what @yrralis1 said
It has problems . Its amazing how you managed to pick the cheapest essential items (like 8 way seats and leather package vs full leather) and loaded the car with so much junk that it prices near a GTS .
I could tear down each piece and why the sum total of all of them are not worth it on an S . If I were a dealership GM I would want 10K deposit . .
I hate to be so harsh .. but you have yet to spend a penny . I did you a favor.
No worries I undertsand. By any chance could you make adjustments to the build and show me a better alternate option?

Looks great I will put in mind the suggestion you guys made

I will, but it won’t be till later. I need to be at my computer rather than my iPhone. I would eliminate some things and add others. For example, all of those performance parts are standard on a GTS. If you want that package that’s really the way to go. It would put you at 92K with modest options . I know that number because I built one already as an example on this forum somewhere. I do have to go, but I will come back to this thread.

I just went through a similar process. For how much you are paying you should really consider moving to the GTS and taking the standard performance features that it brings. The “shiny” elements will not improve the performance. Also, IMHO, theGTS will likely hold long term value better.
i'd go with 21" wheels because bigger wheels just give the car a sexier stance
IMHO, you should consider:

Black door handles are meant to show contrast. You don't pay for black door handles on a black car. They come body color standard. Would probably look off with black metallic body and jet black door handles.

Strongly recommend Premium Package Plus. You got the panoramic roof already. You get better seats with heating and ventilation, Lane Change Assist (blind spot warning) which is very helpful and better headlights.

The gas cap is probably the biggest waste of $. It's plastic and nobody sees it unless you're filling up with gas. A smarter small spend is to buy the wheel locks for $60.

Under Door Puddle Light Projectors is another unnecessary cosmetic option.

Thermally & Noise Insulated Glass - Adds weight, expensive, can negatively impact your cell phone reception. Is normal glass too loud and cold for you? Heated & ventilated seats from Premium Package Plus will keep you more comfortable than the glass

$2,500+ for Race-Tex? It's your $, but I certainly would find better things to spend it on.

If you like to listen to music you should at least upgrade to the Bose system.

You don't "need" the Leather Package. The standard interior is fine.

Up to you if you want to use some of these savings ideas and jump up to the GTS. I have a 23 S on order.

Doesn't the 911 come with 4 way seats as standard? Why all the 8 ways hate.

I strongly recommend you NOT to listen who saying "with that money, you are GTS territory, then go to GTS.", if you go to GTS, you would end up paying close to or above $100k, then you are in Cayenne or 911 Territory. I suggest you look into your build again, you chose Jet black for exterior but chose Exterior package in exterior color and high gloss black, door handles in high gloss black which doesn't make sense because it won't give you that much different worth that money. Puddle light projectors also can be easily purchased and installed by you so, if you want save cost for now, you can skip it. It looks like you want make your car stealth, but still you didn't add cleared taillights, change red caliper to black, this build just mixed and mismatched, and you gave up many practical and convenient options as well.

Just in case you want to compare, this is mine that ordered. PPFVU2S8

8 way is comfort seats. This is Macan S. If it was macan base, I would go with 8 ways, no SC like smooth comforting ride machine. It just not make sense you not choose sports seat for 375hp V6 vehicle
You really have to think about all those "show" options.....eg. gas cap, porsche in the headrest. Someone suggested not getting the thermal glass...if you live in a hot area (south florida, ...), it does make a difference (I've had it on 3 macans after buying the first one without it). Get the premium + package, drop all the race-tex, puddle lights stuff (you can add them yourself for 1/2 the price in 1/2 hour aftermarket). Focus on driving stuff, not fluffy stuff that only you will ever notice...like the special $500+ Porsche badging on the back.

Here's my suggestion: Macan S | Porsche Car Configurator .... $10K less
I like wood (no charge) but black is good. Surround view really helps in tight spots. Sit in the 14 way and 18 way seats....they are very different...pick the one that feels the best to you...more isn't always better..

I am close . I took the glass of and gave him Bose . No wood in modern Porsches !!! Carbon fiber is nicest butexpensive . Brushed aluminum is free and I had it in one of mine . Its nice . I went back and forth with sport chrono. I left it off an S . Macan S | Porsche Car Configurator

That brings me to my main point to @matiasanez If you dress up the S to become a GTS then you need to buy A GTS . The brakes alone are 3500 on an S and its standard on a GTS along with a power bump, upgraded wheels , sport exhaust . I did put sport chrono on. the GTS . am on board with a GTS build !!!

Going modest (still has 18 way seats )
Macan GTS | Porsche Car Configurator

If you want too break up the black the satin wheels are nice . Its not necessary and slightly more but nice . I shamelessly borrowed this from a member to show the satin on the JBM. The wheels bumps it from 92 to 94.

The seat designs of the 911 are completely different from those in the Macan. I don't think the Macan shares its seat designs with any other model. The Macan has had the same style seats since its inception in 2014/2015. It has more to do with the shape and bolstering than the amount of adjustment points.

None of the seats are bad. I have had all three I just don’t feel an $87,000 build that seats are a place to make compromises.

Here's my GTS build @ $91,560, $1k less than what you spec'd, without 18 ways and body-colored side blades:

Yet harshness came easy. In reviewing the tenor of too many yrralis1 posts, does being a member for near 10 yrs confer some kind of boorishness or just self importance?

yrralis1 outclassed.
