Look on the bright side, if you were collecting your GTS from Sydney you would still be waiting for the Hoegh Oslo to dock in Port Kembla! Over the past 3 weeks the Hoegh Oslo has now seen every bit of coastline between Gerringong and Ballina but has not yet entered the port. This Friday maybe?
Waiting patiently (trying to anyway) for a CW Macan S that is on the Hoegh Oslo.
Oh bugger! My car came off the Oslo in Melbourne. This has at least put it perspective for me slightly thank you :p
It could also be worse in that I couldn't afford a Porsche at all!!

Mine is a CWM GTS which I'm super looking forward to. I don't know about you but I wanted those red brakes and I didn't want a really dark car taking away from the highlights. So it was either CWM or Chalk and that costs $4500. I got Red stitching inside to go with black leather and race tex interior (part of GTS extra package). Can't wait. Wasted Spent a huge amount of money on it haha oh well. In 23 years of driving and 4 cars over that time: first time new car, first time Porsche, first time performance car. It's my turn :D

I have a CW Macan S on the Oslo as well. Eagerly awaiting. Live in the Sutherland Shire.
Oslo due to dock at Port Kembla this Sunday. In port Sun thru Wed - peer below link. Cheers

the Oslo is now docked at Port Kembla (y)
Almost there. 4 to 6 weeks maybe?
I am thinking it will be quick. End of month coming up, and probably sales expected for May revenue (Oslo was meant to dock late April)

Cheers

Appreciate the end of month optimism, but based on Tony123's experience I though it was best to be conservative. Still have to get through customs, on a truck to PCSS, then for PCSS to do their bit. Also no idea where I am in the queue at PCSS? It has been a long wait till now ...............

I was in Sales for a while. Monthly targets are a huge driver. My PCSS SA called yesterday. I understood they will clear them asap. Customs likely the unknown variable. I live in Menai. Depending on where you live, maybe catch up post delivery ?

Got an email from PCSS today. Basically Hoegh Oslo is in the harbour but not in a position to unload the vehicles onto the wharf due to port congestion. Hoegh Berlin is arriving tonight and will most probably start unloading vehicles before the Hoegh Oslo. Hoegh Tropper due Friday so PCSS is going to receive 3 months of cars all in a 1 week period.
Where that puts us in terms of receiving our cars I have no idea.........
Happy to catch up post delivery.
**** that sucks! Fingers crossed for a speedy delivery. I have confirmation of this Friday for pickup sooooooooo that's pretty incredible after the Hoegh Oslo docked in Melbourne on the 21st April and left on the 23rd :p

Hmm..... I watched the Oslo dock at berth 105 on Sunday night via its AIS. According to Port Kembla, it is due to depart at 6pm tonight - I will watch and see what happens tonight.

Hoeg Berlin is "in the same boat" so to speak (excuse the pun).
Add the Hoegh Trapper to the list. Its been 'trapped' off the coast of Wollongong for 2.5 weeks! Latest docking schedule shows it docking on Saturday You are being redirected...

Ive been patient watching it sail the high seas, however doing loops off the coast is doing my head in!

It’s today for me to complete the loop. Walking into the Porsche centre in 5 mins to get it. I did not sleep well last night haha!

Awesome & Congratulations! Currently tracking Hoegh Detroit which is a few weeks away - wishful thinking that maybe the ports have caught up by then! Yes to photos please!
How accurate is the Track my Porsche app? Currently it shows that the ship is somewhere close to Melbourne. Going through the tracker and typing in my Vin, it says my car is in Hoegh Oslo, which already departed Port Kembla yesterday.

I don’t believe the Porsche app is accurate. The Oslo docked in Durban, and went down the west coast of Africa. The Porsche app had it going through the Suez Canal…. Oslo is now of coast of Queensland - see here MarineTraffic: Global Ship Tracking Intelligence | AIS Marine Traffic

Righto! Thanks for the info! It’s strange as the car actually moved on the map when I first got the tracking yesterday. It was around SA then now Melb . So there might be a high chance that the car is already on its way to the dealership!
