Ordered my Macan T at the end of July 2022 from PCSS, dealer have said boat is on ship and set to arrive to Port Kembla mid February, does anyone know the details of the ship and where it’s location is currently?
Probably on the same boat as mine, Hoegh Jacksonville. Due to arrive at Auckland first (8th Feb) before going to Melbourne, Kembla and Brisbane ports. Trade Routes

I notice some people don't know the difference between a "boat" and a "ship".
Believe me, a boat won't be able to carry your car, never mind many cars!
As a friend of mine, who is actually a P&O Cargo ship Captain, says ~ A ship can carry a boat, but a boat cannot carry a ship.

The Heogh Trooper Docked in Mebourne 7 days ago. Unloaded all the cars, still waiting on quarantine clearance as the whole ship was quarantined for biosecurity. Two to Three weeks is the ETA.

Having been a Merchant Navy Chief Engineer, my definition between a ‘boat and a ship’ is….a ship goes to sea and a boat goes round the harbour!! 😁

You boys are lucky. Most carriers are hitting quarantine in Melbourne.
Its a nightmare, customs put the previous deliveries in Quarantine. Porsche Aus did send out a clean up crew to speed things up. The still havent inspected our lot a
nd 12 more ships are waitng in the harbour to drop more cars. Thats almost 40,000 cars waiting to be docked.

Seems everywhere. I’m a may delivery so fingers crossed it’s sorted by then.
My car is only a ship near Port Melbourne. It’s already been waiting to dock for 2 weeks and no sign of the ship being listed on the port arrival schedule. The wait is agonising - but it can’t stay on a ship near Port Melbourne for ever!

Congrats! Any photos to share?
Will get a few today. Just spent a couple hours pulling the console and interior trim apart to run the dash cam wiring neatly.
Really should have ticked the box for the factory wiring but it’s done now. I was firstly shocked that there didnt appear to be a 12V socket in the cabin to power the camera but found it under the rubber mat near the gear stick. I pulled the trim out, popped the socket out and refitted the socket under the small storage tray so the bulky camera 12V connector was well out of sight. Worked a treat. Now will tackle running a cable under the sill covers to connect the rear facing camera in the rear window.

I know it’s too late now but my power feed was tapped from the fuse box behind the panel at the RHS of the dash next to the door. First time ever but this one I paid someone to do it as the rear wiring looked a pain.

I have ticked the box for dash cam wiring to be done at the factory. However, do you know if the factory installs wiring for both front and rear dash cams, or only for front dash cam?
