I have 900 miles on a ’23 S. Based on all the praise for PC I‘ve seen here, I was anxious to see whether I’d have to get one, too. So far, though, I don’t think I will. Yes, a light application of the pedal in comfort yields leisurely acceleration, but I don’t find it hard to modulate the pedal to get the acceleration I want. I have sport chrono and moving to sport provides more than enough responsiveness. If I don’t want the firmer suspension in sport (bad upper midwest roads now in pothole season) I set “individual” to sport settings, but leave PASM in comfort. Maybe I’d feel differently if I didn’t spec sport chrono, and maybe I’ll feel differently after putting on more miles, but so far I’m more than happy with the driving characteristics with the car as it is.
You probably spent **** near 90 grand on your Macan S. Just cough up 300 bucks to make the vehicle respond the way it should, no way you ever send it back. A good meal with a few drinks costs at least that much.

You don't actually expect somebody who has already purchased a Pedal Commander to buy yet another similar device, do the uninstall, install, then uninstall and install over agin just to give you some kind of a comparitive evaluation? You have to be joking.
Seriously Dude, just buy one. There are more highly positive reviews on the PC than you can count just on this forum alone.
I was kidding around with wwahl. No I certainly don't expect anyone to do anything.
However, It would be nice to know if someone has compared the performance of these competing devices. If you know of any YouTube or some other comparison it would be nice to share.
FYI, my new S is already in the shop after 16 days and 1200 miles, and I won't be buying anything for it until this S proves its basic reliability and my wife approves. It's her car too and that's how we've stayed married for 50 years!

Not that it matters, but it was $97,000 cash out the door, plus a nice P outdoor cover, P windshield sun screen, CTEK 7002, PPF Xpel Stealth on the interior console and PCM screen, some special windshield washer fluid and various detailing tools. If and when I get one of these devices, I want to get the best one. I'm not in any hurry as I'm still getting a feel for my first P car which I expect to be out of the shop at some point soon - I hope.
It's not the money except that I don't even want to try buying both. I already get way too much feedback on my conspicuous consumption.

Wise sentiment for sure, but to turn the wheel of progress requires experimentation with new technology. If the Roar system works just as good for less money AND allows the user to have cell phone Bluetooth control, then why be a stick in the mud?
Just a little play on words - I’m not implying your a stick😁
The Pedal Commander has Bluetooth and cell phone connection.

Never said I was expert at anything but you’re trying to convince me (or others) to solve a problem that I don’t have. I have zero issue with whatever this “factory lag” is that you guys talk about. My pedal responds just fine.
LOL.
Google "Porsche Macan pedal lag". You will get 152,000 search results about this problem and the medley of devices that address it.

I thought we were over this? I’ll reiterate what I’ve previously said. I don’t care what problems other people have had. I don’t personally have the problem. Again, just because other people have this problem doesn’t mean I have it. And again, based on my personal experience with my vehicle I do NOT have this problem. See the theme here? I’m sorry but NOBODY, including yourself, will ever convince me to fix a problem I DON’T personally have.

Reading your more recent posts, you mentioned you drive in Comfort/Normal (whatever you want to call it) 90% of the time. Comfort is awful and designed for fuel economy, shifts way too early bogging the engine. The vehicle in general will be much more responsive (better shifting, etc) in another mode such as Sport or Sport+.

Have to agree with this sentiment - everyone drives differently and has different expectations for their particular vehicle. There is no wrong or right here. I only bought the PC for my comfort mode driving, in Sports and Sports Plus I would not really care if the PC was installed.

Hopefully this thread can stay on track... ? Hoping for more real world views of the Roar Pedal shortly as I know of 3-4 different members that have ordered it using the discount code. We should have a bunch of new reviews in the next 2-3 weeks.

The lag is there in every mode as many have observed and reported.
152,000 search hits on the macan pedal lag problem and its solution but a problem that you personally do not have. Gotcha! Good for you and your wallet staying 300 bucks wider.

Not sure how you can possibly tell me my personal real life experience is wrong. Unbelievable.

It's not about right or wrong. People have different expectations and perceptions about their cars. Some may want to change things up and others are just fine where they are.
There are many, many, people who have declared this to be a very significant issue on this and other forums. If hundreds of people Zig and one Zags, who do you believe.
Scores of guys readily acknowledge this problem and there are 152,000 search hits about it but this guy is the lucky one who is totally immune to the well known problem. It is abundantly clear that he does not know any better and that's OK.

Why is it so hard for you to accept other people have different opinions, experiences, and personal preferences than you? Why does everyone have to think like you or they are wrong?

You have profoundly changed your position. It was "I do NOT have this problem", now it is a matter of "personal preference". Gotcha.

I have not changed my position at all but way to try and deflect what I asked you.

I’ll repeat again, based on my personal experience with my vehicle I don’t have the problem you are describing and don’t feel the need to fix something I don’t feel is broken. However, I can respect the fact some people want a more sensitive pedal (which is what the pedal commander is doing) and that is personal preference.

A lot of people change things on their vehicles to customize them while others don’t. Just because someone wants to change something doesn’t automatically mean it’s broken.
