After two OEM turbos (Porsche/AUDI Part no. 06L 145 722D and 06L 145 722T; btw 06K145874E seemingly not better) had blown because shaft and internals were too weak for strong tuning (from 252 to 310 HP), a fully stabilized hybrid named: LM430 IS20 Upgrade Turbocharger, whose core can keep over 600 HP was installed. Also a downpipe with 200cell race catalyst and ic by Artek got thrown in as well as a software tune. Making happy & stable 410 HP since 2018 with very fast spooling. Cobb & JB4 are nice, but I wanted a 100% stable turbo. It is technically identical with bestselling LM440 Turbo but in the original AUDI / MAcan IS20 turbo housing: Spooling is much faster & much earlier and torque range is more intensive and linear than any other IS20 hybrids. Yes, stock engine internals.
R4 2.0 TFSI seems 45 kg lighter

Any Dyno sheet, boost levels etc. I know some will want to know more!
with this power ( depending on power curve) and lighter weight, you could beat a Macan Oem turbo!

Custome tune by TVS - They have lots of partners.
Your own tuner can also do it.

Revo also provides software for it . Other tuners like tuning it as well because this hybrid makes boost very quickly:)
Tuners say that 2.0 TFSI Gen3 MQB internals are okay for at least 460 HP - depending on how agressive timing/ignition angle, etc. is programmed...
Normally they give it a rather soft tune of 400 HP.

So adding a better turbo is what I need to do push 400 HP without much issues? I am going to do some suspension mods to make it handle a bit better and then do some power mods. What is the best hybrid turbo in your opion?

There has been only one really stable IS20 hybrid for 2.0 TFSI (Macan + Audi A5/A4 B9) = LM430 IS20 worldwide so far.
You can buy a different remake and after 4 months you will buy an LM430 anyway:)
(due to spool, stability, tuner friendliness)

What IC are you running?

Also, did you explore running a TTE480L?

Did you have to clock the LM430 or was it a bolt on fit?
