Is the owner's manual available online? The Porsche iManuals area only seems to have instructional videos. I don't know what the Porsche Good to Know app offers because the android version doesn't have the 2019 model yet.

I was looking at one (the Macan) online - at the Porsche website, and now it isn't there. This just happened in the last two days. There were e-versions I found and the thing is, I can't figure out how I got to them through the site. Or, the link that was there isn't there anymore. Now it's just a page with videos. I remember there was an option somewhere to just pull down the entire manual.

Does anyone where have a link, or can tell me how to get to it again?

Porsche seems to have removed all the online owner manuals. Why?!

Somebody on the Rennlist forum emailed Porsche asking why the manuals were removed from Porsche online, and this was the response he got back:
Thank you for contacting Porsche Cars North America in regard to the Porsche iManuals website. We are sorry to hear that the recent changes to our website have not been to your liking. We take the feedback of our owners and fans very seriously, as it is their comments that help steer our designs. Please know that yours are no exception, and that they have been documented internally. We thank you for providing us the opportunity to respond and hope you have a great week ahead of you.

I just filled out the form at Porsche Contact Us - Porsche USA

If anyone's interested, I had a subject of "Lack of Full Owner's Manual on Web" and a Body of:

As the owner of a 2018 Macan S, I'm disappointed that you folks no longer offer the full content of the owner's manual on line. It was a very valuable resource, particularly when at a computer, as opposed to being in the car or otherwise having access to the printed manual.

I find your new video-only web access to be useful, certainly, but much less useful than the former, much more complete, web-based information.

Did I state that correctly?

I had previously bookmarked Porsche Digital Owner’s Manuals - Porsche USA in my browser, as my starting point for research when sitting at my computer desk.

I sent it too - modifying it for my Macan model and not so generous about their videos.

If more people would send PCNA notes, we might be able to bring the online manuals back!

I have a copy of the 2015-16 manual (about 117MB) if anyone is interested whilst we find what happened to the more recent ones.

They replied to me noting they take "client feedback seriously", yet told me to go pound sand and
use the Good To Know app. Yeah, right. Well, thanks for nothing...

I sent them a note asking them to at least allow us to download a PDF to keep on our own hard drives.
Here is their response:

Dear Mr. Wahl,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to Porsche Cars North America. We sincerely appreciate your feedback.

I understand that you are requesting the owners manuals be put back on-line in their entirety. Unfortunately we will not be reinstating the website to its previous iteration at this time but we would encourage you to view your owners manual in your vehicle's PCM, in the Good to Know App or if you would prefer a hard copy, you can always order one through your dealership.
You can download the Porsche Good to Know vehicle information app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

Mr. Wahl, we take the feedback of our owners and fans very seriously, as it is their comments that help steer the design of our future models. Please know that yours are no exception, and that they have been documented internally. We thank you for providing us the opportunity to respond and hope you have a great week ahead of you.

Best regards,

here's what I wrote to them...we will see what happens...
I’m not going to be polite. It’s [email protected]#$%n ridiculous that you do not have the Macan owner’s manual available in pdf form on your website. Quit the [email protected]##$%t that we can purchase the hard copy version, or that your pathetic videos are a substitute. This is 2020, basics like this should be easily findable online on your website!
Please send me a direct link to the pdf- if you need to create a Dropbox for the file, then do it!

Disgruntled Porsche (x2) owner!
