Default When She/He Created the Heavens and the Earth

She/he also created little green apples and more importantly, the awesome curving road about a mile from my house. She/he also created Porsche.

Yeah, I know, no religion here. I guess there are forums that specialize in politics and religion, not that I'd know nor ever participate. I find politics incredibly boring. Religion, I'll keep my thoughts to myself. And so will you if you know what's good for you and you don't want to get my thread locked.

But as many, many posts and threads here and elsewhere can attest, to some their automobile, etc., is like a religion.

Well, I just had my weekly religious experience. I spent 3 hours washing and detailing my T.

Last time I did that and parked it, the next day I had rust stains at the bottom the wheel barrels. Water had apparently accumulated in the discs and leaked out.

Not this time. I blew the heck out of them with my Master Blaster, and when all was said and done, I told my wife, who was busy pulling sweet potatoes up from under the earth, something else She/He created I guess, that I was going for a little spin.

Kitchawan Road, here I come.

OMG. Yeah, that "G." It's just so much FUN!!!!!

Tell us the name of your favorite road where you go to experience your religious experience.

I’m going to have a religious experience next Saturday, going up Saint-Cerge in the Swiss Jura mountains, on my way to the race track in France. It’s a lot of fun, and in some spots the views of the Geneva lake and the Alps across the lake are impressive.

This is how it looks like.

Hells Canyon Idaho, probably the last great wilderness area in the continental US. Not a lot of people venture there because you are way out in the bush, and the place is unforgiving, but the roads are sublime. Even though they call it Hells Canyon, I think it is heaven on earth.

Default Wanna join me on a drive down Saint-Cerge on the Swiss mountains?

So as mentioned on my previous post, yesterday on my way back from the race track I passed the Jura mountains (guess where the word "Jurassic" comes from?), and I recorded the portion of the road that I referred to, going down from Saint-Cerge to the Lake Leman (aka "Lake Geneva", which can be seen in some parts of the video, with the Alps in the background), which I thought would be nice to share. The change in elevation in the video is about 640 meters (2100ft). Alas, not on the Macan but on the 911.

I'm also adding the map again; it seems that there was some issue with the file formatting on my previous post.
