Default Where do I get, and how to install, those mirror things

I know, my title is clear as mud. Allow me to describe what I want.

The mirrors on the T, and perhaps other 911 models, are attached to the door, not the triangle of the window, meaning forward bottom section.

At the track I had buffeting in the interior. Iím told, and I believe Iíve seen somewhere, you can replace those flat black plastic triangles with maybe CF with a little upswept lip that may help redirect the wind.

If there is such thing, link please.,

If there is, how do you remove the ones there and install the new ones?

As always, ty for your help.

Ah, yes. Thank you. Wonder if anyone has attested to the fact that small lip makes a difference.

Huge difference. Install is a PITA. I havent done it

Correction, the blackmill ones look the least stock but dont require door trim removal (also work the best).

Former:
15 Turbo - Rhodium Silver on black
18 911 carrera T manual- 480 hp full bolt ons

Current:
17 R8 V10 plus

Providing another link for @MDJAK ......the Blackmill deflectors just stick on, so installation is easy. The downside is, they are more expensive.

Mine have shipped. I wanted to go the CF route but absurd money.

I rarely drive with open windows but on track they are a necessity.

Don’t worry, these forums have cost me a fortune.

Wow .. never considered this . I happen to have carbon fiber inserts on my 997 turbo (made by Techart) but what i found interesting is how differently the mirrors are mounted . On the 991.2 they are fixed to the door creating a large enough wind space . On the 997 Turbo they are fixed to the triangle with a mirror vent . I have no idea why Porsche opted for either but my guess is related to visibility and safety . Look at how different the positions are . (apologies for the bad lighting in the old photo of the mirror.)
