Default FS: Cobb AccessPort for Macan

Selling my Cobb AccessPort for the Macan. I had it running on my Macan Turbo until a few months ago when my wife got t-boned and I got rid of the car. Thinking about it still makes me sad.

I purchased the AccessPort new directly from Cobb. It has all the latest firmware and maps pre-installed. It comes with all the cables and case. The protective film is even still on the screen. Most importunately, it was uninstalled from my Macan so it's ready to be used in another car.

$900 shipped.

Tempted to buy it again but the traffic around here sucks so bad I would rarely ever open it up.

Interested, not to familiar with the process here though. There is no need to get a separate software license through Cobb for my VIN?

Nope. OP is purposely showing the Cobb is "unmarried" to any vehicle where it shows no ECU installed.

It is now ready to install to a new Macan without any additional purchases.

I also bought my Cobb used off a member here a year ago. No problems at all. It is a WELL worth upgrade - power delivery is night and day difference.

Once it’s uninstalled from a car, it’s basically back to its original, new state. It’s ready to be installed on another vehicle. This process keeps it from being installed on two cars at the same time. No need for further purchases from Cobb.

Does anyone know what would need to be done to load onto a GTS? Does anything need to be changed or is it just a setting in the Cobb?

Off the shelf (OTS) maps are available for all the various Macan trims for free, directly from Cobb. They update them semi-frequently too. V2.05 is the latest I saw a month ago. You may need to register an AccessPort to your email address before you can access though, don't remember.

So short answer, nothing special needs to be done for GTS vs any other trim.
