Hi
New to forum. Going to order a 2020 base macan and need help.

Color: chalk or Miami blue
Options:
Premium plus
LCA and PA
Thermal and noise reduction
Smoking package
19 sports wheel
Roof rails

Really dont want to spend that much for color but looking for something different. Miami might be a big mistake (look like a smurf car?). Not sure about TN reduction either.

Live in Santa Monica. Any thoughts appreciated

After driving a 19 base for a week w steel suspension, it’s crap. Spend the money on air/pasm and drop the noise glass. On the color, if the major upgrades are the only ones you like, spend the extra $2000, or go with the silver or volcano gray.

Default Just ordered

I ordered mine Saturday.

I got the Miami Blue w/side blades in Miami Blue
Premium Plus
Mojave Beige Interior
LCA
Adaptive Cruise
Sports Chrono
Black PDLS, black exhaust and black roof rails
21" RS Spyder Wheels
Model Designation Miami Blue
Clear Taillights
14 way seats

I originally had the TN but changed my mind. A coworker referred me to the dealer and they took $3k off the final price. I hear what you're saying on the "smurf", but I wanted a car that I wouldn't see everywhere, so I'm pretty happy with the color. I've owned quite a few cars, so I'm sick of gray, silver, black and white. I really wanted the Mamba Green but wondered if it might become popular here in Houston.

First, welcome to the forum, @blkshadow -- and I think that Blue/Beige combo is going to look *sharp*

I have had air suspension on my two Panameras for context. I special-ordered my 2019 base Macan with standard suspension, and after 2600 miles of driving over a couple months, I have zero issues with it, and am really happy with how it handles in curves, over bumps, and at speed. Air suspension is a real potential problem down the road in any vehicle with it -- nice when it works, nasty if it fails. In my opinion, the real plus in buying a new base Macan is how great a vehicle it is without many options, in that if you keep the price down, it's a great value. Options get pricey really fast, and you have to think what's really important to you. I chose the 14-way seats, ACC, and LCA as the only must-have options, and I'm very happy -- no regrets at not enhancing the exterior appearance (other than my choice of metallic color) beyond standard options.
