Agree about not calling this a 2020. As well I negotiated for a new production mid cycle car with small discount because of no inventory and will wind up getting a depreciated car when it comes. Dealer made me sign a non refundable deposit. When I questioned the pissibility of later delivery they said The dealership would be flexible. Anyone else with similar problems. Lets keep all the 2019 delivery question in one thread. Thanks.

Good news, and better for you Canadians. In the US (and depending on state), there's the EPA and CARB certifications still to go after that (on top of time-to-build and ship, after order placement). Then again, pretty much the same routine every couple of years.

Cheers,

Bill P.

Bummer...didnít notice that member was from CAN. Was really hoping the US deliveries would be in the same boat. The delay is causing me extra stress with my SQ5 lease that ends in July.

I was told "Late May" when I placed my order a week ago tomorrow. Paperwork went into Atlanta PEC today and the dealer indicated I would hear from them regarding arrival date. . . but, he was talking late May. The S5 Cabriolet I ordered the next day is out to late July so Audi is no quicker.

Macan on order - Collect at PEC ATL in July

Buddy submitted his order in February. Date was May, then Nov, and then today May. He canceled PEC since it was pushed to Nov. Now with possible May delivery, sales guy said it’s to late to sign up for PEC LA? Not sure why considering the car isn’t even built yet. Now sure how it’s different now vs when the order was placed in late Jan/early Feb it was quoted that PEC wouldn’t add anything to the timeline.

Hoping all the comments about US deliveries moving up from November becomes ‘official’ in the next few days. It would really make my year!

Original delivery date was scheduled for 06/24 (03APR build) before the delay was announced. My SA told me my S would still freeze and begin production on schedule, but only the delivery would be pushed to November to accommodate the new date given by PCNA.

Fingers crossed the May on-sale date pans out!

Now that would be a bummer! I cancelled my S order because of the delay and picked up a 2018 Base yesterday to tide me over until next year!

You have a rich uncle kick the bucket recently? You're on a tear -- anything on deck for next week?

Cheers,
