Default This little tiger loves playing in the snow

This is my second winter with the Macan but it still amazes me how well this car drives in the snow. It has been snowing non stop for the last 2 days here and as you can imagine road conditions are terrible. I have a set of 18"BBS wheels and ContiWinter Contact snow tires on my car and the car feels like an off-road car taking dirty roads and deep snow and not sliding a bit. For comparison I have a set of winter tires and 20"wheels on my wife's GL450 and the car slides all over and I don't feel comfortable at all driving it under the current conditions here. Attached is a picture of my tiger having fun outside.

My second winter with the Macan, much better than with my 997.1. However, the temptation to use the 'all' the power has made it a little interesting every so often. I think my wife's underpowered XC90 was 'safer' in the snow since you can't get into that much trouble.

Very nice!
I've ordered the same BBS SR wheels for my Macan.
Did you transplant the colored center caps from your summer wheels to these BBS wheels?

Yes, the original center caps fit perfectly on these BBS wheels.

Our winter here in Chicago has been strange to say the least, yesterday was raining and 50 degrees.

Your post was funny. Horsepower and Ice never did mix well!

Hey! I have the same wheels, same tires, same AG, and had the same exact thought just this morning -- **** the Macan does well in the snow. =)

I found the same to be true and I'm on the crappy stock all-season 20" tires!
