Default DME reprogramming WG22

I've just received a letter from P: service bulletin WG22 - DME reprogramming.

It is a voluntary service and it is meant to "optimise exhaust system behaviour at low temperature".

According to the letter, it will take half an hour and is for free.

Since my baby is a diesel one, I wonder if this service is related to the Dieselgate and if it affects also gas Macans.

Had my diesel done a few weeks ago, all fine, even a slightly improved mpg. Others report problems with TPMS after the work. Definitely a Dieselgate recall.
