Default Cobb AP + Aftermarket Exhaust owners?

It's been awhile since I posted! Anyways, I am looking to get Cobb AP and, possibly, AWE exhaust on my S. I've been reading posts related to Cobb AP and AWE exhaust but don't think anyone has that combo on here. Local member had AWE exhaust but never had a tune (sold his car last year) hence the thread.

Why am I looking into it? I recently had a base Cayenne with PSE for a week, and been very disappointed with stock exhaust. I don't think I will run into any issues with this combo so I am primarily interested in owner experience.

I also looked into other systems as well:
1) FI: A bit more expensive and crappy customer service.
2) Armytrix: Soft...I'd rather save my money
Has anyone come across other aftermarket exhaust system with similar exhaust notes as AWE? I never owned AWE products but heard about them over many years (mainly, Porsche community).

Thanks,

I've got a Remus & just got my Cobb. I'm having trouble installing the Cobb, so I can't speak to the aftermarket/Cobb combo yet. Will do so once it gets installed. According to Cobb's site though, the AP won't actually do anything to your exhaust notes, etc. Not sure if that's what you're inquiring after.

I have the AWE exhaust and Cobb tune but it's on a turbo not S... Love the sound and power from the AP... You won't get much more power from the exhaust, just better sound... I had the PSE and thought it was too quiet...

I have COBB AP first, absolutely love it, worth every pennies.
Then, I got the AWE Touring setup. The sound, the extra HP. It was freaking awesome. But my wife is pregnant and she couldn't stand the rumble from the exhaust.
I had to take it off after around 300 miles; I'm selling it now.
Then I bought the REMUS (full setup). Much deeper, quieter in low RPM (compared to AWE), but when you step on the gas pedal... That thing sounds incredible.

Awesome. I checked out your posts. They are telling me 4~6 weeks for the exhaust build. Crazy.

Is Remus louder than AWE? I wish you were local. I would've picked it up from your house!

No, REMUS is much quieter and deeper than AWE. It's like PSE < REMUS < AWE

Thinking of getting Remus + Cobb. Is Remus exhaust the only one that can connect direct to Sports/Sports Plus. Offhand what is the hp/torque increase?
