@Macan27 : Take a look here Page 99 | 2014-2016 Macan Manual | Porsche iManuals

I will check on my car later today but I am pretty sure you only spray water on the rear wiper if you move the "B" switch on picture attached down. If you move it up it won't spray.

Wish you could use the button on the driver's door to fold the mirrors without turning the ignition on.

We are able to do that on our X5, M235, as well as the Mini we previously owned.

If I'm moving something in the garage and want to avoid hitting the mirror, with the other cars I could just open the driver's door and press the button. With the Macan I have to go inside the house and get the key :-)

Thanks Santastico,

I would agree with your findings. Very kind of you to take the time to look into this!

No problem. Glad to help. I tested on my car and you have to turn the switch into INT so the wiper will work without spraying. If you go all the up or down you will spray. Not sure why you can spray in two different ways but....

I would move the roofline back an inch and move the rear seats back an inch. I'd make the rear view mirror just a tad bigger. I would lower the GTS low position another half inch. I would allow for the Iphone to plug into the PCM without Bluetooth via the usb port as standard. Lose the side blades and allow for the spoiler to be body color. Don't ever remove Agate as an exterior color option ever again.

Seriously that's about all I can come up with. The car is just about fricken perfect.

  • Dash Cams, fore and aft.
  • Compass.
  • More folding mirror control.
  • Offer Candy Apple Orange color

    Don’t get me wrong, I think the Porsche engineers do a fantastic job.
    They really think things out nicely. My thoughts are evolutionary.

The problem with this and other things left 'powered up' with ignition off is that there is a possibility of battery drain and/or the need to include a timer in the electrics. More expense and not ideal.
