Default Interest in Carbon Fiber Products - Styling

Just wanted to see if there is interest in any of these products? I have an industry contact who has already developed these solutions in 100% pre-preg carbon fiber. If I were to offer, I'd need to order a production run. We don't sell a lot of styling products (do a lot more functional aero) so wanted to gauge the interest here. These are all direct factory replacement, so not the 3M double sided tape type.

Jon, a lot of us love CF, but without a better ideal on pricing (value) it is hard to get too excited.

There's a lot I'd have to understand from a cost perspective but likely $500-700 for those items. 100% carbon fiber and a replacement part, so very similar to OEM.

500-700 for all the parts together? That's something I'm willing to pay for.

Haha if you want 3m carbon wrapped on construction paper

Price is roughly that per unit, obviously the more material the closer to 700, the less, the closer to 500. Just wanted to see the interest level before getting too far down the road.
windblow likes this.

Check out what's available on ebay. There's a few Chinese manufacturers that offer carbon fiber parts for low $s.

Yeah, that's my main concern is the competition from China. There are a lot of low-cost options out there. I'm not aware of any that are direct factory replacement. I could be wrong, but everything I've seen is the stick on type where there's a double sided tape instead of factory clips/mounting.
