Default Stop Sale

Was scheduled to pick up my SD today from my dealer and received an abrupt call saying Porsche Germany had just sent an email with a "Stop Sale" on my car, so they couldn't deliver it to me...

They don't know why that is or how long it will take...

Anyone out there in the same boat?..

@ricmat , wow!! Hopefully your dealership itself is following up on the status of your car -- and I'd certainly hope that happens within 24 hours. Likely, Germany was already shut down because of time differences - so somebody should be on the phone tonight!

This happened in the morning - and no further news during the day. Dealer has no clue why that is nor how long it will take...
I hear it may take up to 5 days - which is code for "have no clue. Could be fine tomorrow could be a month"...

Had a great trip ahead now have to cancel everything. Bummer

Any chance you have been planning to sell you Macan for export to China?

Could this be related to the airbag sensor recall?

Can your dealer check if any other cars got the same "Stop Sale"? Could that be some issue in the production line that they found out now and is affecting your car and others produced at the same time? I can only guess but that could be one possibility if they know something is wrong with the car and they better not sell it to you rather than have you pissed and fix it later. Hope you get your tiger soon. Keep us posted!!!!
