Default Invisihitch - the perfect tow package for Macan

Just got Invisihitch tow package installed on my Macan GTS. Invisihitch – hidden hitch that will not alter your vehicle’s appearance, greater towing capacity, better collision security and strength, and comparably priced to other tow packages, that is perfect for any vehicle for towing and bike racks. For people who dislike putting a roof rack on a premium vehicle and hate the appearance of a clunky and ugly tow bar as a permanent depreciation of a vehicle’s appearance - Invisihitch to the rescue! Order and self-install or visit the store for local install! Steve and his crew outfitted mine which was the first Macan GTS installed in the world.

I am looking for a hitch and was pretty much for the Porsche one and the cut-out valence. I would like to know if anyone see any down side to getting this one over the Porsche one?

The Invisihitch seems to be a Class 1 hitch, with a maximum towing capacity of 2000 lbs. The Macsn can tow 4400 lbs with the factory hitch, which is Class 3. Just be aware that you're towing ability is limited...

I have had an Invisihitch on my BMW X5 for almost three years. I use it for my bike rack. It has been perfect and I would have no reservations about getting one for my GTS if I did not already have a hitch.

Just to echo this, I almost put an Invisihitch on my X5 and did a bunch of research on it. I don't remember reading any negative info on it, and the Invisihitch folks were very helpful with info . In addition, I've got a friend that put one on his X5, and he loved it while he owned the car. If and when I decide to put one on my GTS, I'll get the Invisihitch rather than the OEM. Love the stealthy install!

Ever since I bought a lot car, the biggest downside on an otherwise fantastic experience, was not having a hitch. I looked everywhere and either they were too expensive (factory install) or ugly (Curtis/U-Haul).

Im hoping this one works out. Thanks for the info!

For light duty, the Invisihitch is great. Particularly for those who don't want their SUV to have any "U" telltales showing. Just don't try tow a car or a horse trailer with it!

How much does it cost, and how hard is it to install?

I'm looking for a hitch with no wiring just so I can attach a bike rack.

Also, their website doesn't show a model for the Macan.
